Play the final version as Mario or Luigi and hop into the Adventure Mode and collect all 45 Power Stars and 70 Star Coins! You can also play together with a friend in co-op mode, just enable it through the world map menu!
If you decide you don't want to be friends anymore head on over to the Battle Mode and duke it out! There's 5 modes to choose from; Standard, Coin Runners, Star Chasers, Shine Thieves, and Deathmatch! You can also customize your battles to fit your preference.

Power Star Frenzy combines many of the great aspects from previous Mario games, and adds it into one amazing experience! It features things like New Super Mario Bros.' excellent level design and 2 player versus mode, Super Mario 64's Power Stars and exploration, Super Mario Galaxy's platforming, and so much more.
But to really sum it up it's a 2D Mario game with 3D aspects.
Power Star Frenzy is based on pure exploration and adventure, and isn't just get from Point A to B like in most recent Mario games. This fangame brings Mario back to his roots, and implements some new abilities and gives the Mario formula a fresh new feel!

This 2019 Supernova Version - v0.2.4 is the final version that I'm releasing as of this build I'm discontinuing Power Star Frenzy. There's an explanation within the game that says why. It has 45 Power Stars and 70 Star Coins to collect.
NOTE: v0.2.4 - Fixes the Star Coin crash in Toad Town.

PLEASE change it from "downloadable" to "HTML/ZIP" so I can play it in browser, I've never felt comfortable with downloads and I have chrome anyway

This is pretty good, but man is it uncomfortable using a keyboard. The fact that X is for jumping and Z is for running is bad. It should be the other way around. It's like playing the original mario bros but A and B are swapped.
Only if you come from smbx, and anyways it's not hard to adjust. I've quickly adjusted to X being jump and Z being run from other fangames using that control style
